Grundisburgh 0 - 4 Achilles (Senior Cup)
Achilles progressed to the last eight with a convincing 4-0 victory over the villagers. Achilles had two goals disallowed before Lee Mc Glone opened the scoring with a cracking goal. Cutting in from the left wing McGlone let fly with a blistering shot to the top corner that Callum Deacon in the home goal could only admire. Andy Coote added a second as he charged down a clearance by the goalkeeper that rebounded into the net.
Achilles took complete control of the match in the second period. Coote converted the third goal from the penalty spot after McGlone was blocked out as he jinked his way into the penalty area and Jack Wilkinson completed the scoring heading in from Dominic Arnold's accurate free kick.
