Haughley United 2 - 6 Achilles 13/12/14
Haughley United opened the scoring somewhat against the run of play with a breakaway goal clinically finished by Stephen Vincent from the edge of the penalty area. On the stroke of half time the visitors levelled from a free kick headed on by Jack Wilkinson and finished by Chris Leys.
A solo effort from Andy Coote at the start of the second period gave Achilles the lead and Leys extended the lead with a header again from a free kick. As the game got fractious, the referee showed several yellow cards culminating with the dismissal of Haughley United's Yani Duka. With a numerical advantage, Achilles took control and added further goals through Dominic Arnold (a screamer from 25 yards), Jack Wilkinson and a second by Arnold. Substitute Asa Millard pulled one back for Haughley United late in the game as Achilles ran out convincing winners.
