Achilles 7 - 2 Grundisburgh 24/1/15

Achilles twice came from behind to beat an improving Grundisburgh at Salmet Close.

Jack Baker gave the villagers the lead with a chip that keeper Jack Foster could only finger tip into the net. Dominic Arnold equalised from Andy Coote's cross before Jerome Murphy shocked the home side with a stunning shot on the turn from the left wing into the far top corner of the goal. On the stroke of half time Robbie Smythe brought Achilles back on terms again with a measured chip beyond keeper Thomas Stone.

Andy Coote scored the winning goal bravely out-jumping Stone at the far post from Arnold's free kick and it was Arnold who also provided the cross for Chris Leys diving fourth. Leys was then dismissed for a second mistimed tackle, but Achilles added three further goals with ten men through Smythe, Coote and Wilkinson to run out comprehensive winners.
