Achilles 3 - 4 Ipswich Valley Rangers 1/2/15

Both goalkeepers were in early action as the game started with chances at both ends. Then Dean Tourney-Godfrey narrowly missed as he tried to lob the keeper from a difficult angle before Ipswich Valley Rangers broke the deadlock through James Blades. Clark Bruce could have doubled the lead from a Lee Willcox cross but his effort went just over the bar. Achilles' Dominic Arnold breached the IVR defence and his cross from the by line was turned in by Tourney-Godfrey for the equaliser.

Andy Coote converted an Arnold free kick to give Achilles the lead but IVR restored parity almost immediately as Bruce took advantage of a poor clearance with a well judged chip from 20 yards. The decisive goal scored by Sam Taylor was clouded by controversy with the Achilles players and many of the spectators of both camps convinced that Taylor was a long way offside. In the final minutes Blades made it 4-2 and Coote scored a consolation goal from the penalty spot before seeing red after an altercation with the IVR keeper.
