Wickham Market 3 - 4 Achilles 2/5/15
With the wind at their backs the home side streamed forward from the start and a fine double save by Jack Foster and some desperate defending kept Achilles at 0-0 until Sam Cresswell pounced on a weak back header to give Wickham Market a deserved lead. Achilles replied when Kieran Donovan played Andy Coote in, but Arron Pettit restored Wickham Market's lead just before half time.
Achilles made some tactical changes in the break and grabbed three goals in 20 minutes through Carl McCarthy, Andy Coote and and an own goal. With the game “won” Achilles relaxed. Wickham Market's Cresswell pulled one back and should have equalised in extra time but was sadly wide from 6 yards.
Achilles finish second behind Crane Sports.
