Bramford United 1 - 3 Achilles 5/9/15

This match saw second place Bramford take on 5th place Achilles, in a match which going to be a tough encounter. Both teams had full strength squads available. Bramford kicked-off and took the match to Achilles. With only 6 minutes on the clock good build up play saw a perfect cross in from the left by Bramford's Murphy finding Munson in space to header over the outstretched Keeper Foster for the opening goal. Bramford looked to increase their lead after 10 minutes.  In a good attacking move, a crossed ball by Golding found Murphy who set up Munson to slot home, but the Assistant flagged for offside. On 15 minutes a Bramford break saw Murphy get himself clear with Foster having to punch the ball clear. Achilles equalised 4 minutes later when attacking play saw Bramford caught with Hillyard firing a well place shot into the top right corner from an unchallenged position. Just before half time Bramford's Alexander saw his netted ball ruled out for offside, while at the other end Achilles Handley shot just wide. Achilles increased their lead on 50 minutes when Little headed in a close range from a corner. Grimwood scored Achilles third seven minutes later with a close range shot. Bramford looked jaded, with Achilles strong in attack. In the final minutes Bramford mounted some attacks, but Achilles took all the points.
