Felixstowe Harpers 0 - 6 Achilles 5/12/2015
From the first whistle Achilles took control and within 30 seconds could of been 1-0 up after good play down the right from Daniel pryke ,presented a chance for Andy Coote but the Felixstowe keeper saved well twice...the first goal soon came when top goalscorer Liam Hillyard curled a 25 yard free kick in off the crossbar...chances came for both sides at a very windy Felixstowe but both teams were guilty of missing good chances...on 44 minutes Gavin Vanoene broke down the left hand side to smash home,his second came 1 minute later from similar play ,he found the net with a neat finish .. With Felixstowe playing against the wind second half ,they found it difficult to get out there half...Achilles won 2 corners the first Liam Hillyard curled in for it to hit the post and come out then minutes later Gav Vanoene from the opposite side completed his hat-trick straight from a corner ,evading everyone and Into the net...good play from Kieron Donavon and Sean Hanley and a cross from joe revell found Andy Coote at the back post to score the 5th....subsistute lee Grimwood came off the bench to slide the 6th in against his old team...Felixstowe had a free kick at the death for a consolation goal but was well saved from Shaun Chaplin on his debut for the club...
