Chris Leys gave Achilles the lead from close range after 15 minutes. Travis Smith could have equalised when clean through but swept his shot wide. Immediately after half time Felixstowe United drew level. Achilles lost the ball in the midfield and Smith burst forward to delicately chip the advancing Ross Charters and the same player was denied a second by a splendid diving save. At the other end Kevin Holland half saved at Dom Arnold's feet sufficiently to allow a defender to get back and clear off the line.
On 75 minutes Achilles claims for a goal were turned down as the ball bounced down off the crossbar and following the resulting corner Keiren Donovan scored the second for the home side albeit from a lying down position. A lack of marking from a free kick gave Sam Behnamnia space to pick his cross and James Andrews made no mistake for the equaliser. With 3 minutes remaining it fell to Liam Hunn to give Felixstowe United all three points after his shot was deflected past the hapless Charters.
