Felixstowe Harpers 2 - 3 Achilles 21/2/16 Bob Coleman Cup

In an entertaining game on an awful day at Felixstowe, Achilles made it into the quarter finals with a 78th minute winner from the league's top goalscorer Liam Hillyard.  The game was evenly balanced until the 25th minute when Andy Coote guided the ball in at the front post from a corner. Football was hard to come by as the pitch got heavier by the minute. Felixstowe forced a corner and Rumens climbed at the back post to head home. On the stroke of half time Achilles regained the lead after Andy Coote brought the ball down, played in Daniel Pryke down the right hand side whose cross was guided in by Liam Hillyard.

Conditions worsened in the second half and with half chances for both sides, the lively Ben Woodhouse found his shot deflect off Josh Little to drop into the Achilles goal to make it 2-2 after 65 mins. 2 clearances from Jack Foster dropped to Andy Coote in behind the Felixstowe back line but he was unable to finish. The winning goal came on 78 mins when a long free kick from sub goalkeeper Jack Foster dropped to Liam Hillyard who was unmarked after Felixstowe captain Rumens switched off and Liam headed home from 12 yards.

Achilles travel to league leaders east bergholt next week in the quarter finals.
