Wickham Market took the lead after 5 minutes in this Bob Coleman Cup quarter final, Stephen Brown finding the space to get a clear header from a corner. Achilles responded and Ben Vincent saved Ben Taylor's overhead kick. The home defence were struggling to contain Wickham Market's pacey forwards and further chances fell to the visitors – Charters saved point blank from Sam Taylor, Miles Powell headed wide, Sam Taylor hit the post cutting in from a breakaway. It was all action and Ben Taylor for Achilles hit the bar before a flowing move was finished by Andy Coote for the equaliser. On the half hour Achilles took the lead through Ben Taylor after the Wickham defence failed to clear.

Achilles took control from that point onwards as Jack Wilkinson and Keiran Donovan gained midfield supremacy. Andy Coote got his second cutting inside the full back to pick his spot, Ben Taylor added a fourth with a classy finish and Marc Lowe converted Josh Capocci's inviting cross. Miles Powell scored a second goal for Wickham but it was Achilles that go on to meet Melton St Audreys in the semifinal.
