Early play favoured Achilles who, but for veteran Gary Hammond in the visitors' goal, would have been well ahead in no time at all. As it was, by the half-time break, just one goal separated the teams - placed close to the goalpost from inside the penalty area by Liam Hillyard after persistent work by Lee Grimwood.
Danny Garrad added a second with a powerful drive that was too hot for Hammond to hold and, then Gavin Van Oene delighted the crowd with a mazy dribble and shot to put the final result out of doubt.
