Exiles stand-in goalkeeper and ex-Achillian Robert Bucys was called into action in the opening minutes saving well as Ben Taylor broke clear.  However, soon after, Bucys misjudged a hopeful high ball into the penalty area leaving Taylor with a simple tap in for the home side to take the lead.  Achilles were commanding the lion's share of the possession but found Bucys in excellent form as he more than made amends for his earlier howler.

Just as Achilles seemed to have settled for 1-0, Exiles scored.  A cross into the box from the left wing was headed against the crossbar and the rebound scrambled in.  Achilles pressed hard for the remaining ten minutes and were unlucky when Vince headed against the goal post and the ball bounced back into Bucys' arms.
