Achilles travelled to the north of the county to face Anglian Combination League opposition without their talisman striker Liam Hillyard. It mattered not a jot as the Ipswich side amassed six goals via five different scorers to progress to the next round.
Achilles carried a 2 -0 lead into the second half following excellent goals scored by Ivan Buxton and Danny Garrad. Waveney rallied at the restart but when Gavin Van Oene drove in off the post 15 minutes into the half, Achilles took charge and ran in three more goals, two for substitute Robert Bucys and one for Lee Grimwood.
