With Ipswich Valley Rangers crowned champions during the previous week, Achilles clinched 2nd place with their penultimate game.  Achilles took the lead from their very first attack when Mark Lowe was tripped in the penalty area and Dominic Arnold stepped up to dispatch the penalty kick.  Chris Leys had opportunities to extend the lead before Melton St Audrys equalised through the lively Maurice Fike who outran the home defence to coolly slot home.  Fike got through again shortly after only to shoot tamely into the keeper's arms.  Callum Deacon saved well from Lowe's volley but was powerless when Gavin Vince turned in Arnold's driven corner for the Achilles winner. Leys had further opportunities from excellent through balls by Arnold and Deacon saved from Taylor as Achilles finished on top.
