Leiston St Margarets 2 - 3 Achilles 19/10/19
A hat trick from “man of the match” Danny Garrard ensured all 3 points for Achilles. Leiston opened the scoring after a cross from the left wing was not cleared and the ball dropped leaving an open goal. Garrard equalised with a curling left foot shot as he cut in from the right wing. Further goals put the visitors 1-3 ahead but on the hour, Ivan Buxton was dismissed for going over the ball. Leiston pulled one back with a twice taken penalty, a keen assistant spotting that the keeper had left the goal line slightly early. Achilles continued to dominate the game despite being down to 10 men and could have won more convincingly but for 3 full length saves by the Leiston goalie.
