Felixstowe Harpers United 0 - 5 Achilles 26/10/2013

Andy CooteFour goal Andy Coote scored four goals for Achilles as the Suffolk and Ipswich Senior division leaders convincingly beat Felixstowe Harpers United and take Coote to the top of the leading goalscorers table for the division. Restored to lead the line after two matches helping out in midfield, Coote showed his striker's instinct to back flick his first and then turn in his second from an acute angle. Coote's best goal came just before half time. Given time 25 yards out, Coote let fly with a wind-assisted shot that bounced down off the crossbar and up into the roof of the net.

Despite playing into the strong wind, Achilles continued to dominate the second half and Kevin Holland in the home goal saved at the feet of Liam Hillyard and then from Kieran Donovan. A one-two between Hillyard and Joe Revel released Revel whose shot was well blocked only to see Coote steer in the rebound. Adam Sturman added a fifth for Achilles from an accurate cross by Hillyard to secure the victory.

I'm told Chris Leys applied the final touch to the first goal. Sorry Chris!
